CLIENT OVERVIEW.
NextGen Living is a Sydney-based home-improvement business specialising in premium blinds, curtains and outdoor shading. Its reputation was built on craftsmanship, product quality and attention to detail. Yet the former website did not carry that same sense of quality online, making it harder for prospective customers to understand the range and take the next step.
Vedah Media partnered with NextGen Living to rebuild its digital experience, strengthen search visibility and make it easier for prospective customers to enquire. The project brought website design, technical improvements and ongoing SEO into one growth-focused programme.
THE OBJECTIVE.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKED LIKE.
Vedah Media focused on aligning the website with the quality of the business, improving search visibility and making enquiries easier. These priorities guided the project strategy.
Clarify Premium Positioning
Present the blinds, curtains and outdoor shading range with a more consistent, professional digital identity.
Rebuild the Website
Create a clearer WordPress and Elementor experience with simpler routes to high-value services.
Strengthen SEO Foundations
Improve page-level optimisation, keyword-led URLs, metadata and content structure.
Improve Mobile Journeys
Make product discovery and enquiry actions easier for the majority of visitors arriving on mobile.
Reduce Technical Friction
Remove inactive plugin clutter, improve performance and create a more manageable website foundation.
Increase Measurable Enquiries
Make enquiry actions clearer and track conversion activity through the website.
WHAT WAS HOLDING
THE BUSINESS BACK?
Before the transformation, several gaps were limiting the website's ability to attract, engage and convert potential customers.
Outdated Website Experience
The existing website lacked a modern visual experience and did not effectively communicate the brand's value to visitors.
Unclear Brand Positioning
The website structure and messaging did not clearly present the business's offerings, making it difficult for visitors to understand its value.
Poor User Experience
Navigation and page layouts needed improvement. Visitors could struggle to find relevant information and move smoothly through the website.
Weak Mobile Experience
The website needed a more consistent responsive experience across mobile devices, tablets and desktop screens.
Weak Enquiry Funnel
Enquiry forms were difficult to find, calls to action lacked clarity and conversion tracking was not configured. The business could not reliably measure which website journeys produced leads or identify where prospects dropped off.
Limited Search Visibility
Poor internal linking and underperforming service pages reduced the site's search presence in a competitive local market. Without continued optimisation, high-intent searches and featured-result opportunities could remain with competing businesses.
SOLUTIONS WE
IMPLEMENTED.
Vedah Media combined website redevelopment, content and technical SEO, mobile optimisation and ongoing search work. The six workstreams below follow the problems identified in the project reporting.
Website Redesign & Development
- Rebuilt the website on WordPress and Elementor with a cleaner design aligned to NextGen Living’s premium product range.
- Restructured navigation to guide visitors towards key services and enquiry actions.
SEO-Ready Content Revamp
- Reworked page content, keyword-led URLs and metadata around high-intent searches.
- Improved content hierarchy and internal links to create clearer paths through the site.
Mobile-First Optimisation
- Rebuilt layouts for smartphones and tablets with simplified navigation and faster-loading pages.
- Placed calls to action more strategically on mobile screens to reduce enquiry friction.
Page Speed & Technical SEO
- Reduced inactive plugin clutter, leaving 15 active plugins, and implemented advanced caching.
- Improved the technical foundation to support a faster and more stable website experience.
Conversion-Centric Design
- Strengthened calls to action and made enquiry forms easier to reach.
- Added credibility elements and clearer page pathways to help visitors take the next step.
Ongoing SEO & Featured Snippets
- Focused ongoing SEO activity on local searches and competitive service keywords.
- Continued optimisation to improve service-page visibility and secure featured-result placements.
